The Ways Things Seem.. Points of View
Rays of sun beat down, Illuminating the ground.
It feels so right, seems so clear
Shadows creep in, Perceptions distorted
Eyes in the dark As the clouds cover a slippery slope of words.
Never making sense, an everlasting darkness
awaiting the day where light is restored and peace abound.
The soothing feeling of a clear day,
Always making sense, no more rain.
One day it will be but a fleeting memory Passed over by the sands of time.
Perhaps one day, upon a shooting star, An understanding, perceptions anew.
Speak not, but leave me in my thought. The rain is cold, don’t pull me out
Trapped in this place, a longing to be free
Trying to catch peace and tranquility,
but the rain never stops. Too many thoughts hovering around in the sky
Which one do I pull out of the clouds?
So many at once there is no confusion, and there you are
Lighting slashes through the sky, disrupting all there is
Thunder roars through the air crashing all to say
Always the same, a point never made
To not offend, an explanation again
But it's always raining, always pouring
And why go through the trouble? And allowed to go on
Another’s Perceptions distorteded

Why doesn't it rhyme?
why should it rhyme? why should one try to rhyme when the desired message can be conveyed in a better way with much better words in a shorter sentence. Rhyming is overrated.
Perhaps the desired effect and rhythm can not be made with rhyming.
be happy and love. kiss
